Grace Baptist Church, Dacula, GA

Grace Baptist Church was started out of a church planting program at Fairfax Baptist Temple in Fairfax,Virginia. Andrew Henderson was sent from Fairfax, where he was the Youth Pastor, to start a church. After searching and much prayer, Pastor Henderson felt the Lord calling him to start a church in the Hamilton Mill area of Atlanta, Georgia. The explosion in population and lack of strong conservative churches in the area made it an excellent location to spread God's Word and offer an independent, fundamental, conservative place for worship.

Grace Baptist Church's first service took place on June 22, 2000, at 7:00 P.M. Since that time God has blessed the ministry with many individuals and families joining the church. In July of 2005, we moved into our first building on Old Peachtree Road.

Pastor David Wood came to serve as our pastor at Grace Baptist Church in July 2006 after Pastor Henderson announced his desire to start another church in Tampa Florida. Pastor Wood served for many years at Shannon Baptist Church Illinois prior to coming to Dacula. Grace Baptist Church of Dacula has had the privilege of helping to support the church plant of Grace Baptist Church of New Tampa, Florida with Pastor Henderson serving as their pastor.
