Pastor David Wood

Pastor Wood and his wife Lori have four daughters. Prior to coming to GBC in July of 2006, he served a church in Shannon Illinois for sixteen years. He loves to read, especially books relating to theology. Dave tries so hard to get grass to grow in his Georgia "red clay" front yard, but so far hasn’t been very successful. He loves to ski when given the opportunity and enjoys family vacations. He follows UGA sports and still pulls for the Denver Broncos. He has earned a bachelors degree in Bible, a masters degree in theology, and a doctor of sacred ministries. Pastor Wood has a great desire to help people live for God through evangelism, church planting and equipping believers for discipleship.
